For the highest demands on quality

Industrial production is characterized by a high level of efficiency. Every work step in assembly and production has to be right to avoid downtimes or make then as short as possible.

Pliers have a very simple and challenging task in industrial production: They have to be a real support to the worker in order to achieve maximum productivity.

Flat-nose pliers, which are suitable for various assembly works, can save valuable time in everyday work that would otherwise be lost due to tool changes.

Cutting pliers such as cable cutters are only a valuable help if they still easily cut after intensive use.

One thing is clear: As different as the material to be processed is, the construction of the pliers used must be specialized too.

Wire cutters are designed for working on hard and tough wires for a clean cut every time.  Professional tools are designed to work on the daily stresses and strains in the industrial sector.

Manual pliers from KNIPEX

At KNIPEX we have been among the ranks of successful German industrial companies for over 130 years. Therefore, it is no surprise that our engineers have a very high understanding of your very special requirements. In other words, pliers from KNIPEX are indispensable when the highest standards are expected of quality and handling in production, assembly and maintenance, and we prove this to you through our specialty tools: for example the installation pliers have smooth gripping surfaces which will not damage the cores of wire ferrules and are made of special tool steel for tough applications.

Or with circlip pliers that can grip and spread even the smallest circlips to then mount them on the shaft.

The list of our hand tools and their special benefits could be continued almost indefinitely.  The first time you try our tools you will see the difference in the quality and craftsmanship. At KNIPEX, we do everything to ensure that every pliers is designed with the right handle style that goes hand in hand with optimized force distribution and a lightweight tool.

Pliers wrench

To the product

The pliers wrench is already a classic and replaces a whole set of wrenches. Available in different sizes for every application, it grips all wrench sizes in its work area continuously and firmly, metric and imperial, absolutely parallel and without damaging the surfaces. Thanks to its large force amplification, it is ideally suited for gripping, holding, pressing and bending a wide variety of workpieces.

Wire rope cutter

To the product

The wire rope cutter 95 62 160 cuts high-strength wire ropes up to 5/32" and is up to 30% lighter than shears of conventional design. In addition, the precise and stable guidance of the cutting edges significantly increases the service life – especially with intensive use. All this is made possible by the unique, patent-pending joint construction.

KNIPEX X-Cut®

To the product

It is not on first sight that you see how strong the KNIPEX X-Cut® is. At only 6 1/4" in length, it is perfect for any wire, from very fine strands to cables with a thickness of 15/32". It is always there when it comes to cutting cable ties, adhesive tape, copper, steel and even spring wire up to 3/32" with little effort. Its box joint, the double side guide and a double-bearing joint axis ensure maximum stability and durability.
